Mt. Zion Braves Soccer Club promotes, develops, and fosters a positive competitive soccer experience for the youth of Mt. Zion, while supporting our community and demonstrating civic pride.

Who is Eligible to play?
Any boy or girl from the 3 yrs. old thru 17 yrs old is eligible to play/tryout who resides in the Mt. Zion area. If you live in the Mt. Zion School District, you are especially encouraged to tryout for these teams as these will be the players you play with on your hometown high school team.
There will be (5) five travel teams for the Fall 2009 season, not including the Braves Soccer Tots Academy program.
League Play: Braves Soccer has competed in the following soccer leagues: US Club Soccer "Land of Lincoln Soccer League", Bach Soccer League,
&
CIYSL.
Members of the Following Soccer Organizations: The United States Soccer Federation (USSF), Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA), & US CLUB SOCCER.
Travel Team Opponents include:
Opponents will be Monticello, Tuscola, Mahomet, Tolono, Arcola, Hoopeston, Chatham, Springfield, Rochester, Lincoln, Taylorville, Jacksonville
, Peoria, Bloomington, Charleston, Williamsville, Champaign, Peoria, Mattoon, and other local central
Illinois teams.
**Each team has Home games at Braves Memorial Soccer Fields in Mt. Zion every season.
Practice & Game Information:
Practice will be held in Mt. Zion at the NEW Braves Memorial Fields 2-3 times per week depending on our game schedule. There will be home games for half of the total scheduled games in Mt. Zion
. The games will be held Friday and Saturday with occasional Sunday games.
Tournaments for Teams: Fall season for the Mt. Zion Braves will be an ultimate experience with all travel teams competing in State sactioned tournaments.
